Journey Tribute Recording In Progress!

Hey Everyone!  I just wanted to let you know that I am currently working on a Journey Tribute recording that will be available for purchase through my Digital Download Store.  You can preview the clips of the songs and buy the full recording there.  I will be posting more songs as they become available.  Journey is one of my biggest influences in any music genre and I believe that Steve Perry is one of the all time greatest vocalist ever.  So this is my effort and tribute to my favorite band Journey featuring some of there greatest hits.  I enjoyed recording these songs and I hope you will enjoy listening to my versions of these great tunes.

The Legendary StudioEast

I walked into the legendary StudioEast recording studio for the first time.  It was amazing to be in the studio where legends such as John  Mellencamp, James Brown, Buddy Rich, Johnny Cash, Maurice Williams & the Zodiacs, General Johnson & the Chairmen of the Board, the Drifters, the Platters, George Beverly Shay, the Glenn Miller Orchestra and Randy Travis, just to name a few.  I worked along side the legendary Arthur Smith, who is a music giant in the country, gospel and the film industry.  We were working on a few songs for a movie sound track for a couple of Hollywood movies.  It was a privilege and an honor to work with Arthur Smith again.  I worked with him on a few of his TV shows called the Arthur Smith Show based out of Charlotte North Carolina.  If you have ever hear and see the Vonage commercial with the Boogie Woogie musical background, that is Arthur's work along with the most famous musical pieces of all time, the song out of Deliverance.  The Dueling Banjo's.  That's Arthur Smith.  While I was there at the studio, I had the honor to meet some of my most favorite Beach Music legends.  General Johnson and Ken Knox of the Chairmen of the Board were working on a recording in Studio B.  It was amazing to see those guys!  One of my most favorite songs that they performed was "Give Me Just A Little More Time"  Here are a few pics of the day with the legends.

Worth The Wait Now Available!

I just wanted to let everyone know that the recording "Worth The Wait" is now available for purchase.  It is available as MP3 downloads in the Digital Store. As many of you know, I started this project over 2 years ago and now I am making it available to everyone to help raise money for my niece Marisa who fought and won the battle over leukemia! I am happy to report that she is doing well and growing up so fast. Haha! This recording was made to help offset some of the cost of the expensive care that Marisa had to undergo. The treatments, hospital stays, meds, etc. So with every purchase of the "Worth The Wait" recording, all the proceeds will go directly to Marisa for the cost of her medical bills.
