Hey Everyone! 
I just wanted to write about a few things happening and I will try to write more in my blog.  First of the Worth The Wait recording is done.  It has been a long process in recording and getting it mixed and mastered. With so many things going on, it was a very tough thing to get done but none the less it is done.  The recording is available only through the website and all proceeds from it go to Marisa and help with the cost of the medical bills that mounted up due to her treatments and hospital stays.  I am happy to report that she is doing great now and is in remission!  I will post a current photo of her soon.  So make sure you purchase your copy of Worth The Wait.  It's available here.

Now I have made available for Christmas the Christmas Time recordings featuring my favorite Christmas song O Holy Night.  I really enjoyed recording this song and I hope you will enjoy it as well.  You can find it available also in the Digital Store ready for downloading as well.  Give the gift of music to your family and friends this year!

Another recording I have been working on is some of my most favorite songs.  They are available on the latest recording titled The Other Side Of Me.  It has such songs as Mad World, Halo, Battlefield, The Promise, Angels, Eternity and She's The One.  They are available now for purchase here.

I have been doing more writing lately and I am planning on a new recording with all original material from yours truly.  I will keep you posted on this as it gets closer to completion.  It is fun to write and see the thought or song come alive with the music and arrangements.  Just like with Worth The Wait, my very first song, I was amazed at how it came together and how wonderful it turned out.  I have a great friend who does my tracks for me when ever I have an idea or a song that I need done, Roger always comes through for me and does an amazing job.  He should since he has been voted musician of the year several times ha ha! 

So my days are spent alot of the time thinking of new ideas for songs and taking in my surroundings and trying to get the ideas off the ground to turn into a song.  So keep looking for my next song.  I am sure one is just around the corner!

Hello Everybody!
I hope you are all having a great day! Just a brief update on my check up. Friday I went to the doctor for my check up and he said that I was recovering well. He still wants me to take some time off and let me recover more before stepping back on the bus. So I am taking another week off to do just that. The better I recover then the better I will be once I step back on stage with the guys. So next week, my friend Dan Keaton will be filling in as he has done in the past for me. Then hopefully I will step back on the bus "slowly" haha and go from there. Still the doctor doesn't want me to push myself in anyway so there will be no lifting or featured solo's until I am fully healed. So that is the bottom line on that. Now I will sit back and enjoy the beautiful day that God has given us.

Hey Everybody!
Yesterday and today we have had rainy days. I haven't felt very good the past couple of days. Just had the blahhhs I guess. I feel better today though and still it is a long road to recovering from this surgery. It is nice to see the rain and hear it pour down outside my window. It makes for really good sleeping weather! haha... So I have been walking around the house some and I managed to go down the stairs today and sit for just a minute. Then it was time to get back to bed and rest. I want to thank everyone who has called and sent emails to me. I really appreciate that so much. I have been getting visits also and that has been nice also. I will go back to the doctor for my first check up on Friday and then we will see where we go from there. So keep me in your prayers as I continue to recover fully.

Hello Everybody!
Well let's see what have I been doing today..... I got up and walked a little more today. The getting in and out of bed is somewhat easier. Still painful though. I have been resting more to. Today was our churches annual Easter Egg Hunt. It is a beautiful day to be outside and enjoying the nice weather. We had bad thunderstorms last night but today I woke to the birds singing and a nice day overall. The RA boys that I teach at church are racing the sailboats that they built today at the Easter Egg Hunt. It should be fun to watch. Since I am not there to watch it, they are videoing it for me so I can see it. Also my little neice Marisa, Amy and Jose are comimg to visit me after the Easter Egg Hunt. It will be good to see them. Other than that, I will be here in bed resting and maybe doing a little channel surfung or playing a game on XBOX Live! I hope that everyone will have a great Easter this year and please keep me in your prayers as I recover.

Hey Everyone!
This is day 3 of my recovery and today I have tried to walk some and I have been surfing the net some as I dozed off and on throughout the day. I have received lots of phone calls asking how I was doing. I am still in some pain and then there is the swelling that goes along with it as well. So I have been laying around in the bed and resting. I have also been playing my XBOX 360 some to. I wanted to try out the SmackDown vs Raw 2009 game on XBOX Live. So I did and I whooped somebody good fashioned! haha! So I won my very first wrestling match on the XBOX Live thing. It was alot of fun and I might just do that again with a few other games of mine. I am hoping to get the latest wrestling game called "Legends of Wrestlemania". The game is out now so hopefully I will get it this weekend. I haven't attempted to go downstairs yet and probably won't until next week sometime. It has been a beautiful day here from what I can tell. The birds are singing and I have a couple of windows open to feel the cool breeze and here Sassy bark at what ever. Well that's enough for now. I am gonna rest a little bit more. I will write back as soon as I feel up to it.

Hello Everyone!
Just an update for you on my surgery. I am writing you from my bed as I am on strict bed rest for a few weeks. What we thought would be a small hernia turned out to be a very large hernia that they repaired. Instead of doing a lapriscopic surgery, they had to cut me 4 to 5 inches instead. Needless to say I am in some major pain right now. I will be taking at least 3 weeks off to recover. My doctor wants me to take 8 weeks off so after the 3 week period, we will see what I can do. I will do what the doctor says because I certainly do not want have another surgery by not fully recovering. All I can do right now is slowly walk in baby steps and only to the bathroom and back. It is very hard to get in and out of the bed right now so please be in prayer for me as I recover from this surgery.

Hey Everybody!
Well, I have been having some fun on YouTube this week.  I have put about 12 or 13 video's on there and you can watch them on my palyer in the Martins media section of this site.  It was loads of fun and I really enjoy singing all of these different styles and genres of music.  I hope you will enjoy them as well and tell a friend or two about the site!  

I did a few songs on SingSnap.com.  So check them out when you can.  It seems that I have a groupie at my studio.  My fur baby Sassy (our dog) loves to come in the studio and listen to me work on demos and record other stuff.  She lays there and falls asleep!  HaHa!  I'll have to get a photo up of her so you can see.  

I have recorded Far Away by Nickelback and I have decided to put that one on the cd as well.  Still working on the cd.  It takes longer when you do not have the time to go in and knock it out in a week or so.  So I do it one day at a time, one song at a time.  So bear with me!

Thanks for listening and for all of the great support and encouragement with my singing.  I just hope that whatever I sing, will help someone, lift someone's spirits and just make them feel special.

Hey everyone!  I know I haven't written a lot in the past but I will try to update more often.  I am still working on the CD.  I try to record at my studio when I get the chance but it seems like there has been so many different things that have taken up my time recently.  I have a very heavy tour schedule as a part of the Dove Brothers, as well as a couple of days at home each week before heading out on the bus again.  So my time is very limited.  I look forward to the vacations that I get.  About 5 to 6 weeks per year is all the break I get.  I just got back in from Branson, Missouri.  We did a TV show at the White House Theater.  Branson is a very long way from home.  Especially when you live on the east coast!  But everywhere is a long way when you live where I do.  lol!  It looks like nest month I will take a break from the road for a week so that will be great.  A much needed rest vocally and physically.  

I have completed roughly 9 songs for the recording and it looks like I will put about 15 songs out for this special project.  I have a very good friend who is doing the mixing and mastering for me and he is very good at what he does.  So hopefully by late Spring or early Summer, the CD will be finished!  I hope that is the case anyway.  When it is finished, everything will be down loadable!  From every song to every photo and text.  I will also be adding ring tones and wallpaper for the recording.  It is a job to get all of this in the works and keeping it on schedule but someone has to do it.  

Well, that is all for now.  I'll try to write more often than not and keep you all updated!

Hey Everyone!  I know it has been a while since I have written.  Let me tell ya, it has been a busy time for me.  I have been getting things ready for a "Special" recording.  I have a beautiful great niece, Marisa, who was diagnosed with leukemia.  She is only 4 years old and I have helped try to raise money for her and her family so they can pay the hospital bills and catch up on their own finances.  It has been heavy on my mind and heart of what else I could do for them to keep them from falling behind financially and giving the care that Marisa so desperately needs.  So what I am going to do is this.  The recording that I am working on as we speak will be available through my website only.  It will be down loadable to anyone who would like to help out Marisa and her family.  The cost is only $0.99 per song and every bit of the money is going to go to Marisa and her family.  I hope that you will help me help them in this trying time in their lives by purchasing the songs that I record and by spreading the word to your friends and loved ones.  Believe me, every little bit helps!  I have raised over 10,000 dollars through a benefit concert for Marisa and that may sound like a lot of money but for one who has a child with cancer, that is but a small portion of what they need to keep up the care that she needs.  So please help spread the word and purchase these recordings.  You can help save a child's life through every song you purchase!

Hey Everybody!
I have been working hard for two days recording and getting some of my most requested songs re-recorded to put on here.  I am almost finished with a 20 song demo of various songs.  These are some of my most requested recordings from the great sites that I have recorded on in the past and recently.  I am putting all of them in the new Martin's Media player as well as the site wide player that is at the bottom of the site.  Some of the songs include, All By Myself, I Melt, Faithfully, Open Arms, I Remember You, Sweet Child O' Mine, Go Rest High, Making Love Out Of Nothing At All and I'll Stand By You just to name a few!  I am planning on putting some of my Gospel songs that I have recorded with the Kingsmen and the Dove Brothers on here as well.  I am also searching for new material to record so if you have some original songs that you feel I may want to record, then send them my way.  You can contact me through the email form on here and let me know.  I'll be happy to hear from you and see what you might have.  I hope everyone is enjoying this site so far and I am having a blast doing this along with some help from family and friends!  Oh and don't forget to sign up on the email list.  That way I can let you know what is going on!
